SMOKING
Why do people find it so hard to give up? (without help)

Like other behaviours, the habit of smoking becomes ingrained into your subconscious mind.
The subconscious isn't logical. If you have been a smoker for some time, your subconscious assumes that your smoking is a valuable and worthwhile part of your daily life.
That is why it will 'complain' when you try to quit, by nagging and creating those cravings that you will probably have experienced if you have tried to give up without expert help.

So it should come as no surprise that  the vast majority of people find it very difficult, if not impossible, to quit smoking by will-power alone.

That's where I come in

Hypnotherapy allows a qualified practitioner to address the subconscious directly. In skilled hands the suggestion of becoming and remaining a non-smoker is accepted by the subconscious, thereby stopping the 'complaining', the nagging and the cravings that are the downfall of the 'willpower only' would-be quitter. This is why hypnotherapy is such a successful means of stopping smoking. It really is that simple !

Why then, do many so people who want to quit smoking never really make the effort to do so?
Well, in my experience I find that for the vast majority of cases the answer is the same ......

FEAR  that you will have to go through some pain or trauma in your attempt to quit.

FEAR that you won't be able to live life as a non-smoker, free from the craving for nicotine.

FEAR that when you won't be able to enjoy life or handle stress without smoking.

FEAR that you’ll put on weight or start biting your fingernails.

FEAR of failure in trying to become a non-smoker.

FEAR that you’ll have to give up the crutch that your smoking habit appears to give you, and that as a result you may become a less effective person.

All of these examples of fear can be reduced to the one simple reason that has until now stopped thousands from even trying to quit.

This reason is yet another FEAR……..

THE FEAR THAT IT WILL BE FAR TOO DIFFICULT AND PAINFUL
TO TRY TO STOP SMOKING!

The truth is that hypnotherapy makes becoming a non-smoker simple. In fact, it has been  proven to be by far the most successful method of quitting.

This is documented by the following article from the New Scientist magazine vol 36
by Elliot Wald, Tami J Eggelston PhD & Frederick Gibbson

To find the most effective way to give up smoking, Frank Schmidt and research student Chockalingam Viswesvaran of the University of Iowa carried out a meta-analysis, statistically combining the results of more than 600 studies of almost 72,000 people from North America, Scandinavia and elsewhere in Europe.

The least successful method turned out to be advice from GPs, which appeared to convince virtually no one to give up. Self-help, in the form of books or mail-order advice, achieved modest success – around 9 per cent, while nicotine gum was little better at 10 per cent.
But for most smokers the most effective technique was hypnosis, which included 48 studies of over 6,000 smokers, and gave an average success rate of 80 per cent for this method.

My fees are £150  (now £120) for two 90 minute sessions (cash only - you'll  find out why!) which will include hypnosis, NLP, relaxation techniques and learning self-hypnosis.
You will leave the final session as a non-smoker.

If you smoke 20-a-day my fees are approximately two and a half week's spending on cigarettes. When you stop smoking you will have an extra £2,000 per year to spend on your heart's desire. That would cover a nice holiday!

You will also, of course, be healthier, fitter, feel better and brimful of confidence, and the satisfaction of having become a non-smoker.

                     If that's not a no-brainer I don't know what is!
